Enjoy the strange and unique wildflowers in spring that flourish along the roadside both here and inland.

Historic buildings and trails survive just waiting to be explored and inviting you to find out more about their pioneer heritage. Linger awhile in Northampton, on the highway north, and the intriguing inland towns of Mullewa, Three Springs, Carnamah, and Greenough hamlet. You may find a festival in the holiday and fishing town of Dongara, just off the highway, from where you can follow the coast road south through amazing coastal wildflowers to fishing and water-sport hamlets such as Jurien. Near Cervantes the captivating moonscape of the Pinnacles National Park huddles behind the reef fringed beaches.
